10 Instagram Feeds to Follow for Décor Inspiration

Instagram isn't just for sharing pics of your gorgeous kiddos: It's also the perfect place to get your daily dose of design inspiration.

To help you feast your eyes on more than just selfies, we compiled this list of fabulous home décor feeds, which includes a little bit of everything—from high-end and ultra-modern to cozy and budget-friendly. No matter what you're into, we know you'll "like" these photos.

1. Architectural Digest (@archdigest)

Since 1920, AD has been the go-to resource for "a discerning audience of architects and design enthusiasts." This feed might not help you shop (unless you have very deep pockets), but it will indulge fantasies, with photos from all the top international design fairs and the homes of the most décor-savvy celebs, such as Gisele Bundchen and Barbara Walters.

2. Design Sponge (@designsponge)

All hail, Grace Bonney! If you're not familiar with this style maven, she was an editor at several décor magazines before starting this utterly drool-worthy blog and then writing the companion book, "Design Sponge at Home." Expect flawless photography and a focus on artists, handmade pieces, vintage-inspired design and just generally everything très chic.

3. Tiffany Brooks of YAY Décor (@tiffanybdecor8)

Winner of HGTV's "Design Star," this Chicago-area designer will save the world one room at a time on HGTV's "Most Embarrassing Rooms in America," which debuts in September. Her worldly-yet-accessible design picks are mixed in with photos of her hubby and kids, and the occasional celeb.

4. HGTV (@hgtvhome)

Just like the TV channel Home & Garden Television and its companion magazine, this feed is a great way to get ideas, ideas and more ideas. They don't usually provide any info on where to buy the products, unfortunately, but you'll quickly get a sense of the colors and styles you like. (Also check out @hgtvrooms for styling ideas.)

5. Nate Berkus (@nateberkus)

Travel the world through photos taken by our favorite Chicago interior-design star. Recently he posted pics from Peru and the Palm Springs Modernism Show & Sale. (Incidentally, he's not so hard on the eyes…)

6. The Inspired Room (@theinspiredroom)

Seattle-area mom Melissa Michaels, who's behind this décor blog, writes that she keeps things simple ("I'm DIY-challenged and always on a budget"). Yet, her interiors are light-filled and inviting. This year, she was voted Readers' Favorite Decorating Blog by Better Homes & Gardens. (Also pictured top right.)

7. Style by Emily Henderson (@em_henderson)

This L.A.-based designer and former TV personality has a style that's affordable and approachable, with a vintage twist. She writes on her website, "I believe a room is soulless without something that is vintage or antique."

8. Remodelista (@remodelista)

Like minimalist, uber-modern, Scandinavian interiors? Then you must check out this prolific eco-chic design blog and its Instagram feed. For green thumbs, there's a sister site, Gardenista

9. Kelly Wearstler (@kellywearstler)

She may be a former Playboy Playmate, but dang, this lady can design an ultra-glam room! (Not to mention clothing, jewelry, furniture and home accessories). Like her interiors, her feed is artsy and exploding with color.

10. Little Green Notebook (@jennykomenda)

It's all about details (tiles, fabric, accessories, etc.) for Jenny Komenda, a New York-based interior designer and a contributing editor for Domino. She writes that her first love is "smart and chic DIY projects." She also loves vintage furniture and unique fabrics that add pizzazz to any room.
