“Notes from the Blender” Reading and Signing

Local mom and writer, Trish Cook, will be at The Book Stall on Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m. for a reading and signing of her book, “Notes from the Blender.”

The evening will feature New Trier actors, Margo DePorter and Matt Smith reading from the first few chapters.

Booklist says, “It’s a rare treat to find a teen novel with both heart and humor in such equal quantities.”

“The swift plot and sympathetic characters result in a moving story about embracing change,” says Publisher’s Weekly. The book is recommended for ages 14 and up.
