Part-Time: Mom.com Sales Representative

CafeMom, the #1 site on the internet for moms with over 7 million unique visitors per month, has launched Mom.com, a daily deals website and we're looking for entrepreneurial spirits to work on this new initiative.

If you love to build things, don't mind getting your hands dirty, and want to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, this could be the opportunity for you.

Our mission is simple - to offer daily deals of 50%+ off for restaurants, salons and spas, local stores, and great services. We will be offering deals to moms both on a national basis and in markets across the country.

We are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial candidate to serve as the leader of our efforts in your local neighborhood. Working closely with the Regional Sales Director and the Regional Marketing Director, the primary responsibility is to sign up local merchants for mom friendly offers. Additionally, the Market Rep is charged with getting as many moms in market as possible to sign up online for the program. The selected Market Rep will bring a great passion to the role, have an ability to identify and sell to great local merchants, and have a tremendous network of local moms to encourage to register for the program.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the core responsibilities include:

--Driving sales and revenues for your assigned market
--Developing and maintaining the local sales hitlist - ranging from restaurants to salons to local stores and services
--Meeting with local moms and important women's organizations to spread the message and generate sign ups for the program

While this role can be part-time role or full-time with flexible hours, there are clear expectations for the Market Rep each week in terms of sales calls, new deals, meetings with moms and local organizations, evangelizing the program, basic administration, and interaction with the Regional Sales Manager.

This is a commissioned outside sales role.
