School Shopping: Take a Tax Holiday

Are you getting ready for some back-to-school shopping? Here's good news:

Illinois residents can take advantage of reduced sales tax on school-related supplies and clothing now through August 15.

You can download a list of eligbile items below. In general, items must be under $100 and supplies must be directly related to school use.

Area retailers are also offering specials—Northbrook Court and Westfield Old Orchard are both highlighting the tax holiday.
