About This Event
Over the past few years trail races have been springing up all over the nation. However, few options have been provided in the Midwest, especially the Chicagoland area. That has changed! The Old School Trail 4 Mile presented by Montrail/Mountain Hardwear is the final event of the five-race Chicao Trail Series, competitive trail races that are held in the trails surrounding the Chicago area. These races are something new and fantastic that we are hoping the runners in the Chicagoland can take part in. Online Registration is now OPEN. We cap this event at 300 participants.

Awards and Prizes
Awards will be given to the top three runners in each age group, by gender. The overall winners will receive a special prize gift.

Amenities
All participants will receive an organic cotton tee, while also receiving great Virtual Goody Bags. The Chicago Trail Series is a "green" trail series, invested in promoting environmental awareness and efficiency through the five races. There will be water stops made available on the race course, while water and food will also be available before and after the race provided by Whole Foods of Palatine.

Packet Pick-up
Numbers and race information will be available at Running Unlimited (451 W. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, Illinois 60067) on Friday, September 3 (12-6), or picked up the morning of the race at the "base camp" at Old School Forest Preserve from 7 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
