I Need Something to Coat My Stomach: Best Bar Food

And if you’re venturing out, the evening can’t be all liquid. Here are the best munchies to go along with that cocktail.

Bar Louie (Skokie and Mt. Prospect): Loaded Tots (queso, giardiniara, bacon, scallion). ‘Nuff said.

The Cellar (Evanston): Smoked Salmon Flat Bread with pesto, goat cheese and arugula. Pizza you don’t have to feel guilty about.

Firkin (Libertyville): Fried Asparagus with Creamy Chipotle Sauce. It’s both green and fried. Discuss.
