Quince at the Homestead offers guests a fine dining experience with a casual edge. Chef Motto’s culinary ingenuity is seasonally inspired, highlighting locally sourced ingredients, including produce raised and harvested from Quince’s two on-site gardens. His bold and eclectic array of dishes can be paired with one of the twenty-five wines by the glass offered from our award-winning wine program. Guests can also choose from over 200 diverse, well-priced wines by the bottle from every major wine region of the world. Attentive and friendly service adds to the warm, welcoming ambiance whether in one of Quince’s main dining rooms or in the Q2 lounge, offering the full dinner menu as well as a small, more casual bar menu.

Quince is one of Evanston's hidden gems. We went for a romantic dinner and loved the ambience, food and service. Highly recommend the Fig Royale cocktail. Different, but delicious. Also loved the corn soup—without question the best thing we had all night. But the duck and lamb were really close seconds. Service was lovely, and our waiter knew his wine list backwards and forwards. Customer dress was all over the map from pretty dressed up (the gals) to a group of students at the next table in t-shirts. The room is beautiful, and the vibe relaxed but elegant, so step it up and leave the t's at home.

Sandy: That has really not been my experience and I've been there 7 or 8 times. Obviously, everyone has an off night, but in general I've found the food to be inventive and delicious. They've also been extremely generous with donations to many area charities.

I was so looking forward to the night only to be disappointed. We were a party of 6 and ordered all different menu selections and nothing was above average. I would not recommend this restaurant there are too many good ones in Evanston!

What a lovely little neighborhood jewel! My husband and I especially like the idea of taking a walk to the lake when finished with dinner!
