The Best Apple Orchards and Pumpkin Patches
Take advantage of the beautiful fall weather at one of our many area apple orchards and pumpkin patches.

Illinois
A family owned and operated farm with 90 varieties of apples available. See their web site for what’s currently ripe. Wed and Sat 9 a.m.-6p.m., Sun. 10 a.m.-5 p.m
Pumpkins, petting zoo, 5-acre corn maze, pony rides, educational farming displays, baby chicks and pigs, Halloween shop, fall produce, baked apple cider and pumpkin donuts and special events on weekends. Open until Oct 31.
Pumpkins, squash, gourds, mums, Indian corn, hayrides, educational activities, farm animals, haunted barn and cemetery, picnic facilities. Steam train rides also available. Open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. daily.
U-Pick 64 varieties of apples, pumpkins, pears, grapes and fall veggies. Also have a store with corn stalks, jams and fall decorations. Open May-October, daily 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
Pumpkins, animals, corn and straw mazes, wagon rides—they’re all here! Goebbert’s also features a haunted house for school-age children, weekend pig racing, shop, café and bakery. Tours and parties by reservation. Open until Oct. 31.
