The New Trier Extension is offering a course called "Social Networking: Facebook, Twitter and More" that will introduce you to using the sites and help you set up your own profile on each one.

Before you know it, you'll have your friends literally at your fingertips, and will be getting updates from @MakeItBetterNS.
