Win a 4-Week Stay at Cheley Colorado Camps

Make it Better and Cheley Colorado Camps invite children ages 10-13 to participate in an essay writing contest for the chance to win a 4-week, first-term (June 15 to July 11) summer camp session at Cheley Colorado Camps in Estes Park, Colorado.

This contest provides a unique opportunity for one boy or girl within the Chicago suburbs area to become a Cheley Camper, spending an unforgettable summer in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

The Essay
In 400 words or less, describe a situation in which you had an opportunity to demonstrate an act of love, unselfishness, honesty, determination, or courage. What did you choose and how did that choice make you feel?

The Prize
A 4-week first-term summer camp session at Cheley Colorado Camps (valued at $4550) for the Winning Essay. The Winning Essay will also be published in Make it Better

February 25, 2011 – Winner and Semi-Finalist announced

Submission Guidelines
Essays should be no more than 400 words. The deadline for submitting entries is February 18, 2011. Entries must be accompanied by a separate page containing the following information: child's name, age, school, grade, parent's name, address and parent's phone number or e-mail address for notification of winners.
