Fresh: City Eats

John des Rosiers, the acclaimed North Shore chef behind Lake Bluff’s Inovasi and the gourmet prepared foods spot Wisma in Lake Bluff and Libertyville, has recently expanded to the city.

He's opening the third Wisma in the French Market at Ogilvie Transportation Center. Specializing in food that’s local, organic, sustainable and made fresh daily, Wisma offers artisan sandwiches, entrees, pastas, salads, soups, desserts, a kids’ menu and more. And the sustainable feel pervades the entire shop: It was built using reclaimed and recycled materials, the utensils and bags are made from renewable or recycled sources, and the carryout containers are reusable.
