Make It Better Goes to Metropolis and Glenkirk

Join Make It Better this weekend at two events:

Glenkirk's 2010 Benefit Brunch and the 7th Annual Sunday Soiree.

It's a Girls Night Out: This is going to be a fun time, so come shop with us! The evening features shopping, hors d’oeuvres, wine and then a performance of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.”

The evening benefits the art programs of Arlington Heights-based Metropolis, including arts education partnerships; Flourish in the Footlights for individuals with developmental disabilities; and Breaking Borders, which uses arts as a common language to bring together suburban and urban students.

Glenkirk has provided over a half century of service to the community by providing quality programs for people with Developmental Disabilities and their families. The organization has grown from a small program for 12 children to the current 49 programs serving over 1100 infants, children, adults, and seniors each year.
