“Bare Bones” Party Kicks off 2011 Lake Forest Showhouse & Gardens

The women of Lake Forest and Lake Bluff didn’t let the cold temperatures and ice stop the party.

On February 10, they came out in force to see the “Bare Bones,” Thorndale Manor stripped and ready for the decorators to get busy. This kick-off event is just a taste of what’s to come when the manor and guest house have been transformed by the more than 30 participating decorators and designers.

The real party begins on April 30 when the transformed house is open to the public. Also, plan on attending the design workshop sponsored by Make It Better and featuring Charlotte Moss on Wednesday, May 4 at 10 a.m.
