Started by two mothers who had experienced firsthand the difficulties associated with having a child with disabilities, the Center for Independent Futures is a not-for-profit organization that works towards sustainable and independent living situations for adults with disabilities and young adults. CIF works to create new solutions every day for those affected by overburdened state systems that often ignore them. They work to put these young adults and their families in the position where they can network within our community. CIF creates programs to teach the skills necessary to have happy and successful independent lives as productive community members with bright futures.
